Almería and Cinema

Almeria and its province has been as a preferential area for film locations in Spain. Major works in the history of cinema have been filmed here. Mega productions include classics such as; Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by David Lean, Cleopatra (1963) by Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Patton (1970by Franklin J.Schaffner, Conan the Barbarian (1982) by John Milius, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Steven Spielberg or Exodus:Gods and Kings (2014) by Ridley Scott.
